Obama lite / less filling?

Is it just me, or does it feel like the air is a little less heavy since Obama took office? I know that in reality that not much can change in just two days, but I get more of a feeling that things are finally going to turn to a positive slant. Not just here in the homeland, but around the world as well. I don't know if it's me just drinking the political kool-aid or what. The one thing that I do know is that my own personal ground zero in which I traverse feels different. Feelings can be fickle. Only time will set the reality. Anyone else sense anything? Just curious.

Simple musings

Their is just some things that baffle me to no end. I will keep this short.

1. How do people make it in this world without getting shot, when they have virtually no people skills? This includes listening, talking, thinking, and eating with their mouth shut. How do they end up in customer service jobs? They also tend to have enough kids to start their own soccer team. Ughhhh!!

2. Why don't we teach critical thinking skills to our children? To adults? Why is it that adults act more childish than the children they bare?

3. George W. .............why did it take eight years? ( refer to #2) Enough said!
